Garden Herb Pistou

Savory blend of fresh basil, sage, oregano and shallots in olive oil. An easy way to add garden freshness to sauces and stocks. Does not contain cheese, garlic or nuts.

Menu Suggestions:
  • Pistou crusted rack of lamb
  • Seafood melange in Pistou Broth
  • Grilled Portabella Sandwich with Pistou Aioli
  • Oak grilled calamari with Pistou vinaigrette

May be extended with heavy cream for cream sauce, mixed with mayonnaise for dipping, add to oil and vinegar for basil vinaigrette, marinade for poultry, meats, seafood, as well as grilled and sautéed vegetables. May be used in and on bread, blended into butter for basil butter, tossed on hot or cold pasta.
